Legal
Terms, in plain English.
These terms exist so both sides know exactly what is being bought. If anything is unclear, ask before you pay — we would rather explain than argue.
The price
- The setup fee is £649, one-off, paid after we confirm your project fits the scope and before work begins.
- Your first year of managed hosting is included in that price.
- From year two, renewal is £149 per year. It covers hosting, SSL, uptime checks, dependency and security upkeep, one small content update per quarter, and contact form routing support.
- If you choose not to renew, the site comes down at the end of the paid period. Your content, images, logo and domain are yours to take anywhere.
What you get
- Your chosen design adapted with your wording, logo, brand colours and up to 10 supplied images.
- Up to 5 page sections for a one-page site.
- A contact form connected to your email, basic on-page SEO, analytics setup, SSL and launch on your domain.
- One round of revisions after the preview. Send changes as one list. Extra rounds are £95 each.
What you provide
- Your wording for each section, your logo, your images, and accurate business details.
- Domain access (or you buy a domain in your own name — we handle the technical connection).
- A working email address for contact form routing.
- Timely responses. The 10–14 day typical timeline starts when complete content arrives and pauses while we wait for you.
What is not included
- Bespoke design, copywriting from scratch, logo design, or photography.
- Booking systems, payment or ecommerce setup, membership areas, or multi-language content.
- Ongoing SEO campaigns or advertising management.
- Email hosting or moving your email provider.
- Some of these are available as priced add-ons or quoted work — see pricing.
Honest limits
- No guaranteed search rankings. We build fast, well-structured sites; we do not control Google.
- You are responsible for the legal accuracy of your content — claims, prices, qualifications and regulatory wording are yours to get right.
- You confirm you own or have the right to use everything you supply (wording, images, logo).
- The underlying design remains Mapletree's, licensed to your business while hosting is active. Your content and domain are always yours.
- Mapletree may decline projects that are a poor fit for the fixed scope. If we decline after payment, you receive a full refund.
